Steven is co-founder and co-chair emeritus of the SVA MFA Design program. A former senior art director of the New York Times, he is the author, co-author and editor of 200 books on design and popular culture. He has had regular columns in the New York Times, The Atlantic and Wired and he writes The Daily Heller for PRINTmag.com, where he is editor-at-large.
