Sr Product Designer, Adobe Journey Optimizer
The opportunity
Adobe Design is looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead next-generation enterprise experiences for Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). You'll own complex, open-ended problem spaces — from early discovery through polished delivery — and serve as a trusted peer to senior product and engineering partners.
You bring deep design experience, a hands-on command of AI-assisted workflows, and the ability to think strategically while caring deeply about every interaction detail.
What you’ll do
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to conceptualize and develop design solutions that will redefine how brands build, optimize, and personalize experiences to advance their objectives.
- Own end-to-end design for complex, ambiguous problems — structuring the space and driving to well-reasoned, polished solutions.
- Prototype rapidly using AI-assisted tools and vibe-coding (e.g., Cursor or similar) as a core daily practice — testing AI behaviors and data interactions early to reduce risk and accelerate decisions.
- Frame product problems clearly, quantify trade-offs, and connect design decisions to measurable customer and business impact.
- Contribute to roadmap conversations at peer level with senior PM and Engineering, anticipating ethical and adoption risks in AI-driven features.
- Tell compelling design stories — from rough sketches to executive-ready narratives — always at the right fidelity for the right audience.
- Drive alignment across disciplines; proactively spot and resolve misalignment before it becomes a blocker.
- Mentor junior designers through critique and day-to-day guidance, and model adaptability as tools and platforms evolve.
What you'll need
Must-haves:
- 7+ years of product design experience, shipping high-quality enterprise and/or consumer products.
- Proven ability to lead open-ended, ambiguous design projects from problem to solution.
- Hands-on, daily use of AI-assisted design and prototyping tools (e.g., Cursor or similar), including testing AI behaviours through prototypes.
- Strong craft fundamentals: visual design, interaction design, IA, and accessibility.
- Ability to frame product problems, quantify trade-offs, and connect design to business outcomes.
- Strong critical and systems thinking — able to anticipate downstream consequences of design decisions and reason across complex, interconnected product surfaces.
- A genuine appetite for solving complex problems; energized by ambiguity and driven to bring clarity and structure where none exists.
- Clear, persuasive communicator — comfortable presenting to cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent design tools.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with AI-driven enterprise products, marketing technology, or journey orchestration.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud (AJO, AEP, or adjacent products).
- Background in campaign authoring, data-heavy interfaces, or workflow-builder design.
- Experience leading or contributing to UX research, including AI-assisted synthesis.
- Track record of mentoring junior designers.
How to apply
Submit your resume and a portfolio that shows how you think — not just what you ship. Work that demonstrates leading complex problems and integrating AI into your design process is strongly encouraged.
