Staff Product Designer, Platform
The opportunity
The Platform Design team is focused on building foundational platform experiences that power how individuals and enterprises access, manage, and use their Adobe products and services. This includes identity, enterprise administration, and developer workflows that support millions of users and organizations.
We are seeking a systems-minded, proactive designer to join our team. You’ll craft end-to-end experiences for developer and administrative experiences within the Adobe ecosystem.
What you’ll do
- Systems Thinking. Unify patterns between multiple touchpoints and systems to create cohesive end-to-end experiences across surfaces, apps, teams, and technologies.
- Simplify. Translate complex problems into simple, practical design solutions that are grounded in user research and data.
- Collaborate. Work closely with product and engineering partners, driving alignment through designs, workshops, and clear communication.
- Prototype. Bring ideas to life. Visualize and articulate proposed solutions with the latest tools like Claude, Cursor, Figma, and experiment with emerging tools.
- Communicate. Craft compelling narrative and use qualitative and quantitative data to inspire alignment and action.
What you need to succeed
Must-haves:
- A relevant degree and 14+ years of equivalent experience in product design, with a proven track record of success delivering designs that meet user and business needs.
- Experience using design thinking and service design tools to tackle complex business problems.
- Strong operational skills with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive close collaboration and alignment between design, product management, and engineering.
- Creative and analytical skills to facilitate research, synthesize, and communicate insights that inspire design opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences and levels of the organization.
- Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and a desire to achieve pixel-perfect precision in the finished product.
