Staff UX Content Strategist, Document Cloud
The opportunity
The Adobe Design Content Strategy (ADCS) team is looking for a Staff UX Content Strategist to join the Document Cloud team. Document Cloud includes Acrobat, Adobe Sign, and integrations with Adobe Express. With over 700 million monthly active users, it’s one of Adobe’s most impactful and fastest-growing product areas. Our team has been recognized for innovation with TIME’s Best Inventions for Liquid Mode and Acrobat AI Assistant.
In this role, you’ll drive the development of content systems, patterns, and frameworks that bring clarity and trust to the next generation of productivity tools at Adobe. You’ll work side by side with product, engineering, experience design, and research to shape how complex use cases unfold—designing the frameworks, flows, and principles that make Document Cloud experiences cohesive, inclusive, and enterprise-ready.
By grounding ambitious ideas in scalable systems, you’ll ensure experiences feel human, useful, and confidence-inspiring—while helping Adobe transform how the world works with documents.
Important note: This is not a content marketing or advertising copywriting role.
What you’ll do
- Define and drive UX content strategy systems for Document Cloud, moving from ambiguity to clarity through content principles and frameworks.
- Lead collaboration on cross-product/domain content patterns and standards that are optimized for multi-modal outputs such as text, audio, and visuals.
- Influence and align teams through clear narrative, perspective, and content artifacts, presenting effectively to senior stakeholders and executives with strong storytelling and strategic influence skills.
- Collaborate with design, research, product, product marketing, legal, and engineering partners to connect business opportunities with user needs and deliver innovative experiences.
- Define and lead scalable content testing practices to evaluate how language drives user outcomes and embed those methods into product development.
- Contribute to Document Cloud’s culture by mentoring peers, helping to onboard and empower the wider Design team, and bringing structure and clarity to complex challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering and other technical partners, ensuring AI-generated content reflects brand voice, inclusivity, and productivity needs.

- Demonstrated ability to build understanding of and evangelize value of UX content strategy within cross-functional environments.
- Strong storytelling, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.

- Passion for inclusive, accessible design and a commitment to clarity and user trust.
- Ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience designing content frameworks and patterns for multi-modal generative outputs.
