Sr Growth Experience Designer | Contractor
The opportunity
Do you want to help build the next evolution of Adobe Express?
We're looking for a hardworking and expert Senior Web Experience Designers to experiment, investigate, and craft an engaging web presence that delivers delight, information, interactive experiences and learning opportunities to our growing customer base and fast evolving product. You'll help develop and implement our acquisition strategy, deepening our relationship with our customers when they first become aware of Express.
Adobe Express makes design and content creation fast, fun, and streamlined for small and medium business owners, entrepreneurs, social media marketers, communicators, and side hustlers, with no design experience needed. The Growth Design team is focused on delivering thoughtfully crafted experiences that shape user behavior and strengthen users’ success with content creation. As a hands-on designer on the team, you’ll welcome our customers at our product's front door, and define their first impression.
Length of primary engagement: ~9 months (20-40 hours per week)
This role is either a hybrid Full Time Contractor position at Adobe’s offices in the US, or US remote. If hybrid, you will be assigned to an Adobe office location, and in-office schedules are flexible (2-3 days per week). The majority of our team is located in the SF Bay Area or West Coast.
What you’ll do
Approach problems holistically. Collaborate with cross-functional team members to define and lead growth strategy, requirements, design experiments and solutions across webpages (on web and responsive mobile). Surfaces include company, product, SEO, partnership, pricing, community, and marketing pages.
Collaborate and strategize. Partner closely with Product Management and Data Analysts to plan, implement, and analyze A/B tests and experiments. Evaluate the effectiveness of design changes and inform iterative improvements. Support Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions and scale them globally.
Listen deeply. Uncover opportunities to decrease friction and enable new pathways by talking to and listening to users about their frustrations, motivations and goals. Elevate these goals to internal partners and advocate for new design directions to activate users from page to product.
Own and create design impact. Inspire user experiences from concept to ship that are grounded in user research and data to close gaps and increase page success and engagement. Coordinate with experience and content designers to produce high quality solutions with a keen eye for detail.
Build and expand visual and product systems. Refine graphic standards, partner with systems teams to expand libraries of content blocks, and experiment with emerging web design trends.
Create moments of curiosity! Apply dynamic, interactive, and product-driven techniques to build moments of joy and motivation. Inspire our customers to comprehend the value our product brings to their goals and business. Productize editor experiences on web to increase discovery and play.
Investigate and iterate. Test your prototypes, capture insights, and integrate your findings into new iterations to help close product gaps and discover new areas ripe for experimentation.
What you need to succeed

- 5+ years of proven experience in web design and web page optimization, content and information hierarchies, and interactive web elements. A strong sense of visual communication and graphic design.
