Principal Experience Designer, Stock
The opportunity
Our team is focused on helping people around the globe work more collaboratively, expressively and efficiently. We are building the tools that allow any creative person to quickly access an entire world of creative content from Adobe.
We are looking for a pro-active, strategic, future-thinking designer who can envision beyond where we are now to “what’s next” for Adobe’s content marketplace. You will have a hand in how Adobe is planning to shape the future of work and creativity — and closely collaborate with partners across various product teams to discover and define the most compelling experiences for potential development over the next 1–5 years.
Do you enjoy working with many different stakeholders, rallying teams and getting alignment behind a single unified vision? Do you find comfort in ambiguity and uncertainty, and are able to craft concepts that solve user needs and advocate for big picture ideas across different types of partners? Come join us!
What you’ll do
- Craft high quality, expert level vision concepts about the future of Adobe’s content marketplace- then confidently and persuasively convince Adobe senior level leadership to make necessary strategy pivots to achieve this vision
- Quickly visualize and prototype ideas to communicate concepts (via sketches, storyboards, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations) while using and extending a design system
- Facilitate design sprints with product and engineering partners and designers from across Creative Cloud
- Develop and drive long-term vision or strategies, including the ability to identify and consider unchartered business opportunities.
- Pro-actively Collaborate. Dig in with prototypers, engineers, and researchers to understand the capabilities of new and developing technologies and emergent user needs.
What you need to succeed
Must Have:
- Related degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience
- Experience with Adobe tools like Illustrator, and Photoshop and other design tools such as Keynote, Sketch, or Figma.
- Experience mentoring, encouraging an inclusive and empowering environment for other designers to do innovative and impactful work.
- Expert level communication, project management and presentation skills
- Confidence in communicating work at all levels of the organization, up to the CEO
- Embrace ambiguity, be pro-active and creative to move large cross-team projects forward. Act on behalf of other disciplines: gather and prioritize product requirements, clearly articulate business strategy, and advocate for changes in roadmap.
