Staff Experience Designer, Acrobat Mobile and Scan
The opportunity

Adobe Design is looking for a talented Staff Designer to join the Document Cloud design team, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth for our next-generation mobile offerings.
As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in shaping the design strategy for Document cloud mobile experiences. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage user insights and data-driven design to create engaging, user-centered experiences that not only attract and retain users but also enhance the overall value proposition of our product. You will influence all aspects of the mobile experience including product and marketing touchpoints.
What you’ll do
- Collaboration and Cross-Functionality: Collaborate with product managers, product marketing, engineers, and other designers to define design requirements and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Facilitation and Alignment: Coordinate and facilitate design-led workshops and alignment meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure design strategies align with business objectives.
- Creative Exploration and High-Fidelity Design: Explore design ideas through sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. Deliver high-fidelity designs that effectively illustrate user flows and interactions, with a focus on improving user engagement and retention to support monetization strategies.
- User Research and Continuous Improvement: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement, ensuring that design solutions are aligned with user needs and business objectives.
- Problem-Solving and Action Orientation: Identify opportunities to simplify complex problems, create actionable plans, and implement solutions, even in ambiguous circumstances, while considering how these solutions can contribute to our business.
- Communication and Influence: Combine strong communication skills with a user-centered perspective to influence and persuade stakeholders, emphasizing the value of design.
- Data-driven Decision Making: Analyze user data and feedback to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
What you need to succeed
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
- In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices for mobile design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of working independently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working iteratively with engineering teams to bring the design vision to life.
- Excellent design craftsmanship combined with strong business intuition.
Nice to Have:
- Proven experience as a mobile designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in mobile design.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $135,900 -- $252,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
