Sr Designer, GenStudio
The opportunity
The GenStudio design team seeks a Sr Designer to help us harness the power of creation, marketing, and analytics tools through developing new Gen AI powered marketing workflows. As an integral member of this team, you will push the boundaries of what’s possible today, keeping a keen focus on enterprise customers, our strategic business priorities, and the changing landscape of Gen AI driven marketing.
What you’ll do
As a key member of the team, you’ll help to define an early-stage product and using your UX skills to navigate from chaos to clarity. You’ll lead how to bring data into powerful GenAI content creation workflows for marketers. Your expertise crafting intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that empower users to group & activate and vast amounts of digital content across many channels in a seamless way
In this role, you will:
- Drive - passion and ability to drive from ambiguity to understanding to detailed designs
- Collaborate - work closely with experts in the AI/ML and marketing to craft innovative experiences by connecting technical opportunities to user needs.
- Simplify - leverage capabilities across Adobe to build cross-cloud and cross-product workflows that allow for end to end data-driven workflows
- Influence - drive alignment and reduce complexity through visual storytelling and design artifacts.
- Build - as a key member of the team you will be instrumental in helping build an effective and dynamic team and design culture within the GenStudio group.
- Analyze - drive investigations of ambiguous problem including identifying gaps and opportunities for your working quad and the broader GenStudio team
- Arrange - bring order through connect dots and structured design problem solving
What you need to succeed
Must Have:
- A history of leading design for and launching complex, yet intuitive products
- Experience working iteratively with engineering teams to bring visions to life
- Experience with at-scale workflows, automation and data visualization
- A background and understanding of marketing, creative, and/or data tooling for enterprise teams and companies.
- Ability to build functional prototypes to test with users and/or partner closely with prototypers
- College degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on UX, graphic design, HCI, or related design field
- Proven interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and storytelling skills
- Willingness and ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team
- Excellent design craft and the ability to blend that with strong intuition for business
- A real passion for collaborating across many subject areas, teams, and functions
- Ability to discern when to deliver and when to push for more clarity or definition
- Comfort making leaps from hunches to prototypes
- Desire to co-create with customers and clients
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience working within a creative agency or an enterprise creative team
- Prior experience crafting design strategy for GenAI, platform experiences, and/or systems
- Deep knowledge around and passion for accessible and inclusive design
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,000 -- $227,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
