Sr Experience Designer, D-ALP

The Space
Learning is a complex and interesting need for today's enterprises, be it reskilling their workforce or enabling adoption and retention through customer and partner education.
Adobe Learning Manager(ALM) helps enterprises build customized learning experiences with flexible learning options across devices and hybrid workplaces, powered by an AI-based recommendation engine.
What you’ll do
- Lead design for the product including working on direction and details, also provide mentorship to other designers across teams.
- Have significant ownership. You will make important decisions about product vision, roadmap, and how it works, looks, feels, and behaves, while partnering with senior leaders across functions.
- Create user experience goals, priorities, and design artefacts that align with the product vision. Coordinate multiple projects to completion, and drive adoption of user experience practices.
- Proactively engage and strongly influence decisions with multiple project stakeholders including business, product managers, engineers, and other designers, in drafting & brainstorming initial concepts.
- Convey design ideas and end-to-end user experience via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, animations and other media.
- Craft design that drive business impact, meet product objectives, fit within Adobe Design guidelines, and respond to user feedback and usability testing findings.
- Plan and conduct primary and/or secondary research, as well as quick rounds of usability tests.
- Be an evangelist for design as a function. Help drive and develop culture, practices and processes across the larger design team.
What you need to succeed
- 8-10+ years of industry experience in experience design, with a proven track record of leading and delivering great design and strategy that meets user needs, product requirements & business objectives.
- Preferably a strong formal education background in HCI or design related field, with an emphasis on human centered design, user experience, interaction design or visual design.
- Ability to grasp the essence of complex problems and translate them to practical design solutions.
- Ability to lead other designers with clarity and focus, and catalyse growth in the team.
- Ability to proficiently facilitate brainstorming sessions, cultivate the creative thinking process, create compelling presentation decks or videos, and present articulate concept pitches.
- Ability to accept and design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process, and effectively produce highly polished and professional work under agreed timelines.
- Proficiency in fundamental visual & interaction design principles.
- Strong understanding of Figma and/or other prototyping tools.
- Ability to comfortably work in hybrid release cycles, which may include waterfall and loosely defined agile and lean design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem space.
- Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills
