Sr Designer, Incubator Team
The opportunity
Adobe Design seeks a Senior Designer to join our internal Incubator Team. As part of a startup-style multi-disciplinary team, you'll tackle an emerging product for the small business space. You'll work directly with your project team to identify key opportunities, drive alignment with concepts and storytelling, and ship brand new products and then help them grow.
What you’ll do
The successful candidate will be collaborative and proactive, exceling at both high-level vision and practical execution with exceptional design craft. Our incubator teams operate in a fast-paced lean startup environment and are empowered to shape strategy and drive innovation through compelling storytelling and evidence-based design thinking. You'll create strategic frameworks, research insights, vision presentations, and actionable deliverables that build alignment and momentum around an emerging product space.
In this role, you will:
- Design core user flows and features for a 0-1 product
- Pair strong communication skills with a user-centered perspective to influence and persuade
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions and cultivate the creative thinking process you’re your team and related stakeholders
- Create polished deliverables including vision presentations, journey maps, service blueprints, and detailed interaction flows that drive decision-making
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across product, marketing, and engineering disciplines to understand their needs and influence strategic direction
- Serve as an ambassador of Adobe Design, promoting our principles and methods when working with other groups at Adobe
What you need to succeed
Must-haves:
- Proven experience and/or training in design or a related field, with an emphasis on user experience, interaction design, or visual design
- Prior experience working within a startup, creative agency or enterprise creative team using lean startup style methodologies
- Ability to proficiently facilitate ideation workshops, cultivate the creative thinking process, build compelling presentation decks or videos, and present inspiring concept pitches
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication and storytelling skills
- Excellent design craft and the ability to blend that with strong intuition for addressing business goals
- A highly collaborative nature and proven ability to iterate through early concepts to bring a vision to life
- Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools such as Keynote, Sketch, or Figma
- Willingness and ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior experience crafting design strategy for platform experiences and design systems
- Deep knowledge around and passion for accessible and inclusive design

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,000 -- $227,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
