Sr Experience Designer, Identity & Education
The opportunity

Adobe Design seeks a Sr. Experience Designer for the Identity & Education team in Bucharest, co-located with engineering and product management partners and collaborating with our broader, globally distributed design team.
Your role is pivotal in advancing scalable identity experiences across diverse user types and driving forward the future of signing in seamlessly and easily managing an Adobe account.
What you’ll do
- Understand: Audit and evaluate current user identity workflows across the Adobe ecosystem.
- Simplify: Turn user needs into practical design solutions that are grounded in user research and data.
- Collaborate: Partner directly with Product Management and Engineering to align vision, strategy, and execution.
- Lead: Confidence in making informed, swift decisions to drive concurrent projects forward.
- Communicate: Transform ideas into sketches, storyboards, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes, and sharing your vision with collaborators, including executives.
What you'll bring to the team
- Solid background in experience/product design and systems thinking to solve complex business and platform experience challenges.
- Proven ability to deliver designs that meet user needs and drive business impact.
- Experience documenting and operationalizing design decisions for long-term scalability.
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate strategy and solutions to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Proven ability to own projects and drive alignment across multiple workstreams.
- Meticulous attention to visual and interaction details while crafting high-quality, user-friendly experiences.
What you need to succeed
- 4+ years of experience in user experience design.
- Experience with Figma or other similar design tools such as Adobe XD, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop.
- Mentoring and encouraging an inclusive, empowering environment for other designers to do innovative and impactful work.
- Confidence in communicating work at all levels of the organization, up to senior leadership and cross-functional collaborators.
Preferred Accessibility Design Skills:
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
- Understanding of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design, specifically testing comps, wireframes, and prototypes for accessibility standards.
- Accessibility certifications CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from the IAAP preferred.
