Adobe.com is looking for a UX design leader passionate about world-class website design and design systems that bridge between marketing experiences and web products. A leader who will manage a cross-functional team of visual designers, figma architects, and UX writers to build, implement and optimize Adobe’s web design system.

What you’ll do
- Manage a team of visual designers, figma architect, and UX writers — to build and optimize a world-class design system.
- Collaborate with an extended team of world-class designers, users of the design system.
- Hold a strong vision and set a high bar for design quality across your team.
- Partner with UX/Web and Engineering teams across multiple Adobe products
- Work closely with product managers to ensure we're building a useful, beautiful, and effective product
- Develop standard processes for designing and using componentized patterns across a large web ecosystem
- Lead documentation efforts
- Be a champion for a11y (accessibility) and the user
- Improve the design to development handoff process
- Supervise UX research related to the system
- Participate in Adobe’s robust design community
What you need to succeed
- 12+ years’ experience in digital product or Web UX design.
- 7+ years’ experience leading design teams
- 3+ years’ experience developing large-scale design systems (preferably in Figma.)
- Experience working with front-end development and/or engineering teams
- Strong design sensibilities and clear vision
- A portfolio demonstrating world-class visual design and design system leadership
- A passion for solving complex user problems.
- Experience building influence with partners and leadership through strong vision and salesmanship
- Experience planning and incorporating qual and quant user testing
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $155,100 -- $277,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
