Staff Experience Designer, Express Extensibility

The opportunity

Adobe Express is on a mission to help business owners, social marketers, communicators, and side hustlers create standout content in minutes. Our design team is passionate about delivering a fast, easy, and fun creative experience that empowers users to bring their ideas to life—beautifully and effortlessly.

The Extensibility team enables Express to reach new audiences—whether through integrations inside Express, or by embedding Express features into partner apps like Acrobat, Miro, Fantasy Premier League, and ChatGPT. We empower developers and partners to build on our platform, expanding what’s possible for creators of all kinds.

We’re seeking a Staff Designer to lead design for extensibility experiences. You’ll shape how users and developers discover, access, and integrate Express capabilities across diverse surfaces, driving the future of creative extensibility at Adobe.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll drive the vision and strategy for extensibility across Express and partner platforms, crafting scalable systems and intuitive workflows for integrations into our Express experience and AI assistant. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end experiences that enable seamless integration of Express features into partner apps, ensuring that creativity powered by Express can reach users wherever they are—whether inside our product or through collaborations with leading platforms.

You’ll work closely with other designers, product managers, engineers, and external partners to expand on requirements and deliver high-impact solutions. Collaboration is central to this role, as you’ll lead cross-functional efforts and AI-first initiatives across our partner ecosystem, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives to create solutions that are both elegant and impactful.

Your approach will elevate design quality through systems thinking, accessibility, and scalability, guaranteeing that extensibility experiences are consistent and delightful across multiple surfaces and devices. As a mentor, you’ll guide designers and contribute to a culture of craft, innovation, and inclusivity, fostering an environment where creativity and collaboration thrive.
