Staff Designer, Monetization Platform
The opportunity
Are you a systems thinker who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and business? Do you connect the dots between user needs and monetization strategy within your product domain? If so, this is your opportunity to shape the future of commerce experiences at Adobe.
We’re seeking an expert Staff UX Designer to help craft the future of Adobe’s Monetization Platform—the engine that powers all commerce transactions across the business. Our mission is to empower customers to make confident, informed decisions through smooth, intuitive, and best-in-class commerce experiences. From acquisition to retention, your work will span the full customer lifecycle, influencing high-impact experiences across web and mobile.
This role is for a designer who’s as comfortable crafting elegant UI as driving product team strategy. You’ll lead initiatives that push the boundaries of what’s possible, harnessing GenAI, advanced design systems, and close collaboration with product and engineering to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
What you’ll do
- Architect monetization experiences that support significant revenue—from paywalls and checkout flows to upgrade paths and retention strategies.
- Drive the vision for commerce design within the Monetization Platform team, grounded in user insights, business goals, and emerging technologies.
- Ensure consistency and clarity across surfaces and touchpoints, designing experiences that are intuitive, inclusive, and frictionless.
- Rapidly explore ideas through prototyping and experimentation, using data and feedback to iterate and refine.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers within the team to align on strategy and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Share your expertise with the team, helping to elevate design craft and foster a culture of curiosity and excellence.
What we’re looking for
- A strategic designer with a strong product sense and a passion for solving complex problems within a product domain.
- Deep experience in interaction and visual design, with a portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful systems thinking and elegant execution.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity across diverse stakeholders within the product team.
- A collaborative spirit and a bias toward action—someone who leads by doing and inspires through craft.
- Experience with monetization, commerce, or enterprise platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and their potential to transform design workflows is a bonus.
What you need to succeed
- 6+ years of experience working in product/domain space.
- Recognized as an expert in their domain.
- Experience driving design process and strategy within a product team.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization
Preferred Accessibility Design Skills:
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
- Familiarity with WCAG standards and testing for accessibility compliance.
- Certifications such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from IAAP are a plus.
