Staff Product Designer, Monetization Platform
The opportunity
Monetization is one of the most critical and visible experiences at Adobe. It’s where value is communicated, trust is earned, and business impact is realized.
We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer with exceptional visual craft and product taste to modernize and elevate Adobe’s Monetization Platform — the engine powering commerce experiences across Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
This is not a maintenance role. It’s a transformation role.
You will redefine how customers experience pricing, packaging, checkout, upgrades, and retention — shaping high-impact journeys used by millions worldwide. You’ll bring clarity to complexity, elevate the visual language of commerce, and set a new quality bar for B2C and B2B monetization experiences.
We’re looking for a designer who cares deeply about typography, motion, layout, visual hierarchy, and polish across web and mobile — someone who believes monetization can feel premium, intelligent, and effortless.
What you’ll do
- Lead experience strategy - Define and articulate a cohesive vision for commerce experiences across the ecosystem by translating business models and pricing complexity into intuitive, customer-centered experiences.
- Elevate the craft of commerce - Redesign and modernize core monetization experiences — paywalls, pricing pages, checkout, subscription management, upgrade flows, and retention touchpoints.
- Raise the visual and interaction quality bar across surfaces - ensuring every detail communicates trust, clarity, and value. Introduce modern UI patterns, motion, and progressive disclosure to reduce friction and cognitive load.
- Drive design systems and scalability - Contribute to and evolve design systems to support scalable, consistent monetization patterns. Ensure visual consistency across platforms while maintaining flexibility for experimentation and establishing reusable frameworks for offers, bundles, upsell, and lifecycle journeys.
- Rapidly explore ideas through prototyping and experimentation, using data and feedback to iterate and refine.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers within the team to align strategy and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Share your expertise with the team, helping to elevate design craft and foster a culture of curiosity and excellence.
What we’re looking for
- A strategic designer with a strong product sense and visual craft, with a passion for solving complex problems within a product domain.
- Deep experience in interaction and visual design, with a portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful systems of thinking and elegant execution.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity across diverse stakeholders within the product team.
- A collaborative spirit and a bias toward action—someone who leads by doing and inspires through craft.
- Experience with monetization or commerce platforms and workflows is a plus.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools and their potential to transform design workflows is a bonus.
What you need to succeed
- 6+ years of experience working in product/domain space.
- Recognized as an expert in their domain.
- Experience driving design process and strategy within a product team.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization.
Preferred Accessibility Design Skills:
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
- Familiarity with WCAG standards and testing for accessibility compliance.
- Certifications such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from IAAP are a plus.
