Staff Designer, Collaboration & Storage
The opportunity
We’re looking for a Staff Designer to join the Collaboration & Storage Design team. In this role, you will help define how creative and marketing professionals collaborate with each other to create on-brand content at scale, leveraging Adobe’s tools and AI technologies to curate, distribute, and reuse brand elements and guidelines.
As a platform design team, we are responsible for defining how the system works and designing experiences for Adobe’s products like Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, and Adobe GenStudio. You will work closely with a broad set of cross-functional and design partners to create human-centric AI-powered experiences that free users to spend more time being creative. What you need to succeed
- 6+ years of experience in product, systems, or interaction design, ideally across tools or platforms for creative professionals
- Exceptional visual, interaction, and prototype design skills, with the ability to think conceptually and strategically and operate at multiple altitudes
- Subject matter expertise in brands and brand systems
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize for user and business impact, and keep multiple initiatives moving forward
- Expertise in Figma, our primary design tool; experience with Cursor.ai or other AI-powered design, prototyping, and collaboration tools
Preferred Accessibility Design Skills:
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
- Familiarity with WCAG standards and testing for accessibility compliance.
- Certifications such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from IAAP are a plus.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $146,300 -- $274,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
