Sr Staff Product Designer, Platform Design

We are seeking a systems‑minded, proactive, high-agency Senior Staff Product Designer to drive design strategy for the future of our platform experiences. You will help reimagine how foundational capabilities evolve in response to changing technologies, business models, and customer expectations.
What you’ll do
- Proactively identify uncharted business opportunities and pair high-level strategy with actionable execution, influencing roadmaps and long-term investment decisions.
- Bring clarity to chaos by translating complex user and business needs into practical and scalable design solutions.
- Visualize and prototype ideas with the latest tools like Cursor, Figma, and emerging AI-powered platforms that push the boundaries of what’s possible and bring new ideas to life.
- Facilitate design sprints and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Adobe’s product lines to align global teams and deliver cohesive experiences.
- Use customer feedback, research, and data analytics to uncover insights and inform design decisions that delight users and solve complex problems.
- Present design strategies and concepts to senior executives, crafting compelling narratives and using data to inspire alignment and action.
- Serve as a design leader in the evolution of how we work, upskilling the team through workshops, critiques, and modeling excellence to the broader design organization.
What you need to succeed
- A related degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience in product design, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience working with a suite of disparate experiences and uniting them for a high-quality experience that meets customer and business objectives.
- Agility player who thrives in ambiguity and is able to drive progress, build alignment, and adapt to evolving platform strategies, shifting priorities, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences and levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and fostering an inclusive environment that empowers designers to innovate and deliver impactful work.
Preferred Accessibility Design Skills:
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
- Understanding of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design, specifically testing comps, wireframes, and prototypes for accessibility standards.
- Accessibility certifications CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from the IAAP preferred.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $158,000 -- $301,050 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
