Director of Design, Frame.io

The opportunity

We're looking for a Director of Design to lead a core part of our product design organization and drive both vision and execution for how creative professionals collaborate at a pivotal moment. Creative workflows and tools are rapidly evolving with the advent of generative AI and new technologies like Frame.io’s Camera to Cloud. In this role, you'll lead and inspire a team of talented design managers and individual contributors, setting the creative bar for our product experiences while partnering closely with leadership across product, engineering, and research.

This is a role for an accomplished design leader who combines exceptional strategic thinking with a genuine passion for craft. You'll be equally comfortable defining multi-year product vision, developing organizational capability, and regularly rolling up your sleeves to provide hands-on creative direction. You should possess deep expertise in product design, proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams, and an unwavering commitment to design excellence. Your leadership will shape the future of Frame.io, pioneering new experiences that shape how millions of creatives work in the next era of creativity.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $175,600 -- $327,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
