We’re seeking a strategic, empathetic, and forward-thinking leader to head our User Insights team. As Senior Manager, User Insights, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of user researchers, workflow architects, feedback specialists, and design strategists. Your mission: to deeply understand our customers, illuminate opportunities, and guide the evolution of Frame.io through actionable insights and visionary thinking.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the research function at a category-defining product used by creative professionals worldwide. Reporting to the Head of Design, you’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Design to ensure our product and roadmap reflects what truly matters to the customers we serve. Your work will drive clarity, spark innovation, and help Frame.io deliver best-in-class experiences that empower creative teams to do their best work.
What you’ll do
- Lead and mentor a high-impact, multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Define and scale research operations, methodologies, and infrastructure to deliver timely, actionable insights
- Establish and drive a strategic User Insights roadmap that informs product direction and unlocks new opportunities for growth and impact
- Champion the voice of the customer, turning research into compelling narratives that shape decisions at every level of the organization
- Build and operationalize programs—like Voice of Customer panels and feedback loops—that regularly bring teams closer to the people we build for
- Apply and evolve mixed-method research strategies, integrating qualitative and quantitative insights to guide product development across the lifecycle
What you’ll need to succeed
- 10+ years of experience in user research, design strategy, or related fields, with 5+ years leading high-performing teams
- Proven success driving research for complex, multi-surface SaaS products, with deep expertise across qualitative and quantitative methods
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder alignment skills, with the ability to build trust and influence through insight and narrative
- Track record of using research to drive measurable product and business outcomes (e.g., CSAT, NPS, MAU, etc.)
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive research practices that surface diverse perspectives and advance accessibility and equity
- Experience building and scaling impactful research teams in fast-paced, product-driven environments
- A portfolio of case studies that showcase your strategic thinking, leadership, and ability to generate high-impact insights
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 -- $271,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
