Staff Quantitative UX Researcher
The opportunity
Adobe Design’s Research & Strategy team is seeking a Sr/Staff Quantitative User Experience Researcher to provide expertise in collecting, organizing, and analyzing large collections of user data to inform product strategy and design decisions in the Experience Cloud product portfolio.
What you’ll do
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to understand and influence business goals, system architecture, and product designs.
- Identify impactful research opportunities, assess project scopes, brainstorm appropriate research questions, and identify appropriate research methods.
- Run research studies from start to finish, including developing a realistic research plan and materials, recruiting participants, synthesizing data into findings.
- Advocate for the end-user by articulating your research findings and data driven product recommendations through clear and insightful presentations.
What you need to succeed
This position is a great fit for candidates who focus primarily on quantitative research methods, or for mixed-method researchers with a solid quantitative background.
Must-haves:
- Significant hands-on quantitative research experience in an industry setting (UX Research, Market Research, etc.).
- Experience with a variety of quantitative user research activities, including data management, data analysis (exploratory and confirmatory), data visualization and tools like R, Python, PowerBI, SPSS, etc.
- Expertise in quantitative research and statistical methods (descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, regression, etc.).
- Ability to go beyond the data to develop core insights about user behavior and understanding.
- Strong problem-solving skills and orientation toward action.
- A history of cross-functional collaboration and partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem space to a diverse audience.
Nice-to-haves:
- 7+ years hands-on experience conducting, analyzing, and reporting robust quantitative research projects.
- Experience conducting research in the field of Generative AI.
- Experience conducting quantitative market research.
- Experience with managing and analyzing enterprise SaaS data.
- Training in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
- An advanced degree or equivalent experience in information science, data science, human computer interactions, psychology, or a related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,000 -- $260,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
