Sr Editor, Adobe Design
The opportunity
Adobe Design is seeking an experienced Editor with a background in marketing and a passion for design to join our team. As the Sr Editor for Adobe Design, you’ll help shape key narratives, stories, and packages featuring the work, thinking, and culture of Adobe’s global design organization. You’ll collaborate with our Design Communications team and partners across Design Operations, Design Leadership, and Brand Design to develop and deliver impactful stories and resources that highlight the impact of Design on Adobe products and spotlight the unique expertise of our team.
What you’ll do
- Own the editorial approach, calendar, and process for Adobe.design, the public-facing hub for Adobe Design stories and careers.
- Collaborate with Adobe.design’s Editor and other Design Communications team members on identifying and workshopping new stories for our editorial and public speaking pipeline.
- Collaborate with members of the Design organization to bring their stories to life at a variety of levels (acting as a thought partner, ghost writer, editor, or interviewer, depending on individual need and skill level).
- Collaborate with our Brand Design team to produce and package Design stories at a high level across digital, print, and event touchpoints.
- Collaborate with Director of Communications and Internal Communications Program Manager on shaping Adobe Design stories for internal audiences.
- Own and optimize metrics for efficacy and impact of Adobe Design stories.
What you’ll need to succeed
- At least ten years’ experience in a similar editorial role, with a focus on brand storytelling
- Top-tier written and verbal communication skills
- A strong interest in the craft and practice of design
- Proven experience collaborating with contributors, stakeholders, and partners to develop and refine stories
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for content packaging and presentation
- Excellent project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to navigate and influence in a large, global corporate environment
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $106,300 -- $196,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
