The opportunity

The Adobe Spark content team is looking for a seasoned designer to contribute to our template design pipeline and drive engagement to expand our paid media presence on social. Your work will enable and inspire millions of creators and empower them with creative confidence.

Your design expertise will be mission critical for creating engagement strategies off inspiring starter content that comes in a myriad of shapes and sizes from ads to templates, collections, and assets. Data and performance of your design solutions will inspire you to try new ideas and constantly iterate your approach.

What you’ll do

Adobe Spark is at a pivotal point; we are reaching millions of communicators around the globe with an all-in-one creative tool that enables anyone to stand out.

  • You will create stunning, on-trend templates; you’re capable of translating the most relevant trends and best practices into social media moments that help propel Adobe within the digital zeitgeist.
  • You will live and breathe digital and social culture, infusing the template design practice with inspiration whilst staying true to codified product principles that enable customers to easily get started from any template.
  • You are a creative copywriter and will be responsible for writing your own copy as it pertains to templates and your creations. Learning the voice and tone of Adobe Spark’s brand and bringing them to life through your creative ideas.
  • You will create templates and strategies for engagement with clarity, consistency, and quality and be responsible for ensuring that templates empower our users to create stunningly beautiful content with simplicity and ease.
  • You will manage your own deliverables and output within the production pipeline for templates; creating and publishing towards key targets and working within quick turnaround times to stay relevant on social.
  • You will be optimizing for consistent discovery–templates are encoded with data that enables relevant search results, you will manage the review process and ensure templates appear in the right results.
  • You are a subject matter expert on creating content for Pinterest, bringing visual design, engagement content type ideas, and trend concepts specific for the platform.
  • Your work will be highly visibility, you will work on paid social ads that are front and center for our engagement efforts.

What you’ll bring to the team

Your approach to setting unbreakable standards makes you the go-to for engagement design and your drive to push the envelope means you’re constantly looking for new ways to make a splash on social.

Must-haves

  • Ensure high quality graphic design, and a fresh voice in your work by staying on top of current design trends
  • Your design approach generates positive engagement and results on social, in-app notifications, email click throughs, and advertising
  • Collaborate effectively with engagement marketing and social media teams
  • Extraordinary visual design and communication skills, and a sharp attention to detail
  • The ability to juggle, and prioritize multiple projects at a time
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, branding or social campaign creation
  • Experience with content management systems and a managed taxonomy
  • Experience designing for and with the Pinterest platform in mind
  • Basic understanding of current visual trends on Pinterest
  • Ability to be given a prompt or direction and run with it, coming back with a unique perspective or point of view
  • Experience designing for paid social

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with, and a point of view on, creative tooling and social media with a strong passion for the creative potential in everyone
  • Has experience and interest in working content strategy efforts in a product that can meet millions of creators around the globe, while staying true to the design origins Adobe is known for

This position is a 40-hour contract role and is fully remote, but based out of Adobe’s office in San Francisco.
