We are building the tools that allow any creative person to quickly access an entire world of creative content from Adobe. Envision having access to millions of creative assets from the world’s best artists with just a few clicks. You would also be able to easily access thousands of fonts or immediately start a tutorial for mastering a new technique. We are looking for our newest team member who will have a keen business sense, with the ability to put forth design ideas that blossom into beautifully designed products with high utility. If you are looking to be the bridge between cross-functional teams, champion data-driven design across a business organization, work with beautiful creative content, and lead user experience vision while still getting into the pixels, this challenge is for you. The designer in this role will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing, and Content Acquisition to design the future of our web experiences with a focus on commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Drive design-led initiatives while crafting a vision based on quantitative inputs
  • Contribute to product strategy and roadmaps through user research and design explorations
  • Quickly visualize and prototype ideas to communicate concepts while using and extending a design system
  • Construct beautiful, functional interface designs that work in concert with platform technologies
  • Create goals, priorities, and deliverables that align with product team objectives, oversee multiple projects to completion, and drive adoption of user experience practices
  • Pair strong communication skills with data-centered thinking in order to influence and persuade
  • Assess and optimize new and existing features by actively participating in user research and evaluation of performance metrics
  • Lead initiatives with multiple partners, including product managers, a team of content managers, engineers, product marketing managers, and other designers to bring concepts to reality at every stage of development
  • Convey design ideas via sketches, storyboards, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations
  • Manage all stages of your projects, from vision to implementation and all the tiny details of design QA during development
  • Support development teams throughout the implementation cycle
  • Participate in peer design critiques to give and receive feedback

Requirements

  • Experience using data driven design methods to achieve measurable results especially in environments that focused on conversion, subscription and renewal
  • Familiarity with multivariate testing methodologies, including experience using analytics, user research and other approaches to inform design decisions
  • College degree or applicable experience in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or related design field
  • Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and other design tools such as Keynote or Sketch
  • Experience working iteratively with an agile engineering team
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team and synthesize feedback and input from multiple partners
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team
  • A real passion for collaborating across many disciplines
  • Experience working on content driven and/or e-commerce products
