Introduction

The Adobe Design Team is seeking a highly organized individual to help drive the business and foster the community of our organization. If you have a passion for creating and managing process across recruiting and hiring programs, employee growth, travel, conference attendance, equipment/subscription ordering and managing team budget; as well as fostering community across a distributed workforce by monitoring employee morale and creating/rolling out meaningful programming and engagements, then this is the right role for you.

In this role, you will help remove the noise out of the daily life of all members or our Org so that each person can focus effectively on their own role. Additionally, by rolling out meaningful programming, you will be aiding in employee retention, help better our team for external engagements, and, help evolving our brand as a Design team both internally and externally.

Candidates must demonstrate strong operational process/project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands. They should also be comfortable in a fast paced, fluid environment and possess strong judgement and communication skills. Resourcefulness and a positive/winning attitude in driving tasks or projects to completion is key.

Main things you’ll do

Daily Operations

  • Manage and forecast quarterly and annual budgets
  • Track and manage: ordering, travel, morale (enrichments programming), training, equipment, supplies, employee promos and rewards
  • Support recruiting and interviewing of candidates (full-time, contractors and interns); provide new hire onboarding
  • Create, manage, maintain Org-wide wiki pages and external online spaces
  • Oversee space needs, changes, moves and serve as rep for the Org; communicate changing needs to Facilities team

Program Management + Enrichments Partnering with AD operations team in India:

  • Implement Org wide processes and projects to increase working efficiencies across different roles
  • Manage Org communications strategy, cross org meetings + events
  • Create, schedule, roll out and manage programming around internal and external events
  • Maintain external online sources current such as Adobe Design website, Behance, etc.
  • Manage Org calendar around various engagements from conferences, speaking, to publishing schedules

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience events and project management
  • Budget management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team
  • Ability to create project goals, messaging, communication and overall plans with minimal direction
  • High energy, outgoing, “can do” personality
  • Ability to use discretion in the handling of highly-sensitive, confidential and non-routine information
  • Ability to dive into details with high degree of accuracy, while staying focused on the big picture
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and objectives to audiences of all levels, internally and externally
  • Versatility and enjoy a challenge: should be comfortable juggling tasks from the mundane to the more strategic
  • Passion for events coordination, operations and project management
  • An understanding of design and/or artistic communities.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Good conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse stakeholders.
