Introduction

Do you like thinking about the big picture and solving system-level problems? Are you a holistic designer who can identify customer needs, visualize solutions, test assumptions, gather feedback, and ultimately deliver detailed design direction? Can you collaborate with multiple partners to define cohesive user journeys that span products and platforms?

We’re looking for an Experience Designer who can consider the entire Creative Cloud ecosystem and visualize end-to-end experiences that simplify multi-product use, encourage broad engagement and grow the platform.

What you’ll be working on

  • This role will be focused on the spaces between products and services, identifying user friction and exploring solutions to improve interoperability.
  • You’ll be working with other designers and product leaders to define the future of how creatives work. This includes capturing user requirements, generating design options and presenting those options to design and product stakeholders at various stages in the process.
  • You’ll be working with product teams like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Xd to smooth the flow of work between product spaces, cloud services and contributors.
  • You’ll take an active role in user research to discover user pain-points and test possible solutions.
  • You’ll convey design ideas via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and animations.
  • Your work will enable familiar cross-application experiences for our customers and define modern solutions that can adapt to various screen sizes and interaction models.

What you’ll bring to the team

Must-Haves:

  • High-level critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to juggle and drive multiple, concurrent priorities.
  • An aptitude for facilitating collaboration and negotiating consensus.
  • The ability to defend and communicate standards up and down the organization.
  • The inclination to empower and mentor other designers.
  • The patience to revisit concepts as conditions evolve and new contexts emerge.
  • A minimum of 3 years of industry experience in product design with a proven track record of success.
  • Deep knowledge and experience across a range of design approaches, methodologies, prototyping and wire framing.
  • The experience articulating user identities by developing user profiles, personas and core user scenarios.
  • Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Direct experience building workflow tools that help a user get through a complicated system.
  • Experience creating interface and user experiences for phone, tablet and desktop.
  • A deep understanding and experience with a variety of research methods, and knowledge about when to apply each.
  • Knowledge of coding languages like HTML, CSS, Javascript or React for rapid prototyping and testing.
