Are you a logical thinking experience designer who loves to work through lots of possible solutions? Are you a detailed oriented designer with production experience? Bonus points if you’ve had experience setting up design experiments and/or growth projects with the goal of increasing conversion, sign ups or other metrics. As an independent contributor on the Stock team, you’ll have the opportunity to move between different projects and work with other designers on short and long term projects and conduct design research that impacts the future of the product.

The designer in this role will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing, and Content Acquisition to design the future of our web experiences.

What you’ll be working on

  • Design and iterate side by side with multiple different engineering teams and other product teams to take advantage of the latest Adobe technology
  • Quickly visualize and prototype ideas to communicate concepts while using and extending a design system
  • Optimize new and existing features by evaluating performance metrics and/or user research
  • Present design ideas to multiple stakeholders and clearly articulate rationale, logic and research as supporting evidence for well thought through design decisions
  • Participate in all stages of your projects, from beginning to implementation and all the tiny details of design QA during development
  • Moderate user testing sessions alone or alongside researchers
  • Strong communication skills with data-centered thinking in order to work creatively with a team to achieve measurable results.
  • Participate in peer design critiques to give and receive feedback

What you’ll bring to the team

Must-Haves

  • 3-5 years experience designing interfaces for software, apps or the web
  • Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and other design tools such as Keynote or Sketch
  • College degree or applicable experience in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or related design field

Nice-to-Haves

  • Interest or familiarity with a/b testing, growth design, or experimentation using data analytics a plus
  • Experience working iteratively with an agile engineering team
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team and synthesize feedback and input from multiple partners
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team
