Adobe Design, our nearly 300-person product design group, is looking for a dedicated Experience Designer to join the Creative Cloud Education team.

What you’ll be working on

  • You’ll design experiences for students and educators across the globe—spanning community platforms, third-party integrations, and internal cross-team collaboration projects.
  • You’ll convey design ideas via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, or prototypes.
  • You’ll support ongoing, world-wide qualitative research.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with internal and external partners in design and engineering to establish visual language and patterns that scale across devices, surfaces, and contexts.
  • We’ll engage with multiple project partners, including product managers, engineers, and other designers in drafting & brainstorming initial concepts.

What you’ll bring to the team

Must-Haves:

  • BA/BFA degree in design related field, OR equivalent training or work experience.
  • Passion for education and learning!
  • An enthusiasm for ambiguity—we are still early-stage strategy-wise.
  • Ability to address complex design problems with practical design solutions.
  • Proven strength in crafting clear taskflows and interactions to address technical opportunities and user needs.
  • Serve as a collaborative informer on strategy, and an independent executor in getting that strategy into the UX details.
  • Ability to design against feedback from colleagues in a rapid iterative design process—and effectively produce work under tight timelines.
  • Proficient in fundamental visual & interaction design principles.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Prior experience crafting online communities or third-party integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to display user-generated content in a compelling, consistent manner that serves usability, communication, and inspiration.
  • Confidence in navigating questions of taxonomy and content strategy.
  • Some experience with visuals, brand, and identity.
