Overview

The Adobe Design Operations team is looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our Design Enrichments team. We are a group that focuses on developing and curating programs to help build the culture and community of a centralized design organization within Adobe. The right candidate should be passionate about developing professional growth and creative programming that will help keep our design workforce engaged and inspired in their work.

Adobe Design works directly with executives, product managers, and engineering leadership to bring great products to life. This position, which is based in our San Francisco office, will be a key component of our Design Operations efforts in managing a distributed design team across several offices around the globe.

In this role you will:

  • Create professional growth programming that will augment and strengthen the skills of our individual designers.
  • Develop and facilitate creative workshops, events, and speaking engagements that will inspire and invigorate our creatives.
  • Compile quarterly, detailed event proposals for approval by Design Ops team.
  • Execute against approved plan in alignment with schedule and budget.
  • Execute workflow for tracking and reporting on all Design Engagements.
  • Partner with Enrichments manager on Design thought leadership activities.
  • Provide support on larger scale projects that span Enrichment and Operations team as needed.
  • Act as the key communicator and organizer of internal programming across our distributed offices.

Must-haves

  • 3-5 years experience events and project management.
  • An understanding of design and/or artistic communities and culture.
  • Passion for creative events coordination and project management.
  • Experience in building learning and development curriculum.
  • Demonstrable track record of building and developing team culture and community.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Good conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse stakeholders.

Candidate must be able to work on site, at the Adobe office in San Francisco.

Length of engagement is 6 months.
