Adobe Design, our nearly 400-person product design group, is seeking a thoughtful forward-thinking Senior Experience Designer to partner with our Emerging Products Group (EPG). A small yet mighty group within Adobe, established to explore next-generation product opportunities empowered by artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, computational photography, and augmented reality (AR).

What you’ll be working on

As a key design member and thought-leader on this team, you’ll be an integral part of exploring and influencing the next generation of Adobe’s creative tools! We are currently working on projects that merge Adobe’s digital imaging history with computational photography on mobile, AI, and AR. If you are enthusiastic about solving big technical challenges, this is your opportunity to work with a truly outstanding team on some really exciting projects.

You will (among other things):

  • Seek/design the “simple” experiences and interactions, fueled by machine learning, that influence our growing portfolio of creative tools and empower users to delight themselves.
  • Explore design ideas via sketches, storyboards, wireframes. Use feedback and research to refine and iterate towards product objectives. Be the voice of reason and champion of the creative user.
  • Work closely with senior executives, product managers, senior engineering scientists, and partners across the company to bring new products to life.

What you’ll bring to the team


  • A minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in product design with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience (and a love of!) solving complex design and technology problems using systems thinking.
  • A history of close collaboration with design, product development, and users from ideation through implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate a multi-level problem space and strategy behind design decisions.
  • Creative and analytical skills to advocate for and support research, synthesize, and communicate insights that encourage design opportunities and product strategy.
  • The ability to collaborate and inform open-ended design projects that may be ambiguous or ill-defined in their early stages.
  • Deep knowledge and experience across a range of design approaches, methodologies, prototyping, and wireframing.


  • Direct experience building creative tools that help a user get from idea/inspiration to results.
  • Experience creating interface and user experiences for mobile apps.
