The Adobe Fonts team is looking for a strong, systems-minded UX content strategist and product writer to work with the design and product team and create a responsible, clear experience for our next generation of font deployment and licensing.

  • Scope: 4 weeks, approximately November 1 to Dec. 1

What you’ll be working on

  • You’ll embed with the Adobe Fonts design team to bring clarity, consistency, and quality to the way the team uses language in their experiences, particularly in how Adobe distributes and activates fonts across the many apps and services in Creative Cloud.
  • You’ll be developing guidelines to keep the user experience simple and straightforward, while allowing the business to gain a competitive advantage.
  • You’ll be executing on those strategies, and writing useful, usable language in the product that will be used by millions of Creative Cloud customers.
  • You’ll be working with our small, expert UX content strategy team to help us develop standards and resources, and coordinate across product teams.

What you’ll bring to the team


  • A proven track record for developing an content strategy, and tactically writing and designing toward that strategy
  • The ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects at a time
  • Extraordinary writing and communication skills, and a sharp attention to detail
  • Experience leading wide, centralized content efforts for a large, diverse organization
  • Ability to present and sell your ideas, create coalition, and build support across a wide landscape of diverse stakeholders
  • 2+ years of experience in content strategy and development
  • Experience crafting and governing content standards, terminology, and UX writing efforts at a software company


  • Experience with creative tools and complex digital ecosystems
  • A passion for typography and an understanding of fonts
