The opportunity

We’re seeking a contract Project Manager to join the Adobe Design team. This is a chance to be part of a creative organization focused on delivering Adobe’s Creative Cloud business. You are an advocate for design-led innovation, will understand the role design plays in multiple product development methodologies, and apply that knowledge in the creation and negotiation of evolving design engagement models. You will be a leader within the design team, and a trusted partner to your cross-functional peers. You will work across various product teams to understand, communicate, and manage the delivery of design and customer experiences. Adobe Design is Adobe’s in-house team that works directly with executives, product managers, and engineering leadership to bring great products to life.

When our offices reopen, this position will be based in San Francisco, California. The contract is for 6 months, starting immediately, with the possibility of extension.

What you’ll be working on

  • Collaborating with designers, content strategists, researchers, and prototypers.
  • Working with a wide range of cross-functional teams.
  • Strategizing with partners on team priorities and staffing.
  • Balancing multiple inputs of priorities and needs.
  • Capturing requirements and goals.
  • Prioritizing design and development efforts with multiple dependencies.
  • Crafting and managing schedules.
  • Leading tasks to completion.
  • Publishing assets and deliverables.
  • Communicating project status.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Real passion for user experience and design.
  • An understanding of design process.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse partners.
