Do you love solving complex problems? Adobe Design’s Research & Strategy team is seeking a quantitative User Experience Research contractor to provide leadership in organizing and analyzing large collections of user data to inform product strategy and design decisions.

What you’ll do

We are looking for someone with a strong background in organizing and exploring large collections of data that can lead research projects from data exploration and analysis through to communicating findings to key stakeholders. This job requires both the talent to uncover key user insights from large data collections and the interpersonal skills to translate and communicate those insights to a variety of internal stakeholders. You will partner with user researchers and engage with product and design teams, and teams managing a variety of user data collections to understand the user experience and influence product strategy and design.

What you need to succeed

Must haves:

  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of quantitative user research activities, including data management, data analysis (exploratory and confirmatory), statistics/statistical reasoning, and tools like Splunk, Tableau, Pendo, PowerBI, Python, R, SPSS.
  • Expertise in quantitative research and modeling (statistical, mathematical, etc.).
  • Goes beyond the data to develop core insights about user behavior and understanding. Can translate these insights into product and design recommendations.
  • A history of cross-functional collaboration with data analysts, data architects, engineering, design and product management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to efficiently collaborate with stakeholders from different functions and clearly articulate a problem space, sometimes in various ways to meet the needs of different recipients.
  • Strong problem solving skills: comfortable in addressing unknowns in user and product experience

Even better:

  • 7+ years hands-on experience conducting, analyzing, and reporting robust quantitative research projects
  • Experience with managing and analyzing enterprise SaaS data
  • Training in data science, statistics, or related disciplines
