Adobe Design is seeking an engineer with a passion for both design and engineering to work as a part of a global team of engineers and designers to rapidly prototype innovative new web-based and mobile user experiences.

What you’ll do

As a Experience Developer on the Adobe Design Prototyping team, you will work as part of a team of engineers who collaborate with visual and experience designers to prototype web-based applications. You will be influencing the overall strategy by rapidly building innovative end-to-end web and mobile experiences. You will be collaborating with various stakeholders connected to the Design team to build a shared vision that will help drive high-stake decisions. You will work with both collocated and remote developers and designers in a highly agile, passionate, and fun environment to quickly iterate on products that increase our customers’ productivity as well as amplify their creativity.

What you’ll bring to the team

Must haves: Technical Requirements:

  • 4+ years of hands on software development experience.
  • Proficient in front-end technologies and related client-side frameworks and build tools (Angular/React/Vue, Less/Sass, Grunt/Gulp/Webpack, etc.).
  • Server-side development (JavaScript/Node.js, PHP, etc.) and architecture(Apache/Nginx).
  • Responsive web design and implementation.
  • REST APIs, Git, Bash (Linux or Mac).

Candidates should have familiarity with:

  • Relational databases and SQL, and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Services, and/or Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
  • Security standard methodologies.
  • Should be a pro-active self-starter who can develop methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.

Nice to haves: Experience or familiarity with:

  • C or C++.
  • Python, Java and/or other server-side technologies.
  • Database-driven web applications.
  • Canvas or SVG or WebGL.
  • Comfortable with Agile development methodologies.
