We are seeking a forward-thinking Sr. Experience Designer to join the e-commerce design team. From the small details, to big-picture feature concepts, to long-term strategy, our work is put tested by millions of customers across a variety of fields and experience levels every single day. You will join a dynamic team crafting the end to end e-commerce for our individual, team, and enterprise customers. As a key design member and thought-leader on the team, you’ll drive e-commerce experiences that Adobe’s business customers - from small teams to large enterprises - go through.

What you’ll do

  • Strategize. Define the future of e-commerce experiences for business customers including how people discover, purchase, and successfully engage with Adobe apps and services.
  • Have meaningful ownership. Be responsible for guiding strategy and executing user experiences from concept to ship.
  • Unify. Evolve the e-commerce system by unifying UI components across our surfaces.
  • Simplify. Translate complex problems into ‘simple’ practical design solutions that are grounded in user research and data.
  • Collaborate. Work closely with other designers, and engage with multiple project partners, including product managers, engineers, marketing managers and other designers.
  • Visualize. Bring design to life. Articulate the need and proposed solutions through sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations across all levels of the organization.
  • Lead. Inspire teammates, forge relationships across they company and lead with design thinking.
  • Evangelize. Show design-thought leadership through collaborative sessions and workshops with product and engineering partners

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience (and a love of!) solving sophisticated design and technology problems using systems thinking
  • A solid track record of delivering SaaS product design meet user needs and business requirements. Bonus if you have experience working in business e-commerce, merchandising, or growth design.
  • A desire to go beyond pixels. You seek to have an influential role with the product team as a driver for design process and product strategy.
  • Experience using design thinking and service design tools to solve complex business problems.
  • Excellent collaborator on teams with many moving parts and partners.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Comfort giving and receiving critique in regular design and experience reviews.
  • Strong prototyping skills, and the ability to find the right balance of fidelity vs. speed to reliably convey key concepts. Prototyping animations, interactions, and hover states is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate designs and strategy persuasively and concisely to all functions of the organization, including executives
  • Use experimentation, quantitative and qualitative data, along with other insights to drive innovation and iterations
