Adobe India is seeking a Sr. Experience Researcher for international markets to uncover meaningful and global human-centered insights and interpret them for business and innovation growth opportunities, provide leadership to product design and development teams in mapping user goals onto the product development process and strategic business explorations.

What you’ll do

We are looking for an exceptional user experience researcher to drive research efforts that uncover global human-centered insights and interpret them for business and innovation opportunities. The individual is expected to inspire, guide and work with multidisciplinary Adobe teams through a journey of discovery across a broad spectrum of design projects. The ideal candidate would engage in all areas of the product team to clearly understand and influence the business goals, product architecture and design.

What you’ll need to succeed

The basics:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in areas including design research, market research, consumer insight and user experience.
  • Mastery in a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, and their tradeoffs.
  • Proven record of using research to answer business strategy questions and needs.
  • Experience in interpreting insights into potential design and innovation opportunities and solutions.
  • Ability to analyze insights and articulate similarities and differences between cultures and region/countries.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate a problem space, sometimes in various ways to meet the needs of different recipients.
  • Flexible schedule to facilitate meetings across international time zones.

Even better:

  • Masters Degree or Ph.D. in cognitive psychology, cognitive science, anthropology, data science, or related field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or other creative tools.
  • Has a history of close collaboration with design and product development.
  • Experience with web analytics, and/or software instrumentation/ data visualization.
  • Multi-lingual: High linguistic command in German, French, Japanese, Korean
