The opportunity

At Adobe, our Creative Cloud team is going through a transformation. As we diversify our tools to function across more surfaces and in new contexts, we’re working on better and more seamless ways to collaborate and share creative assets among and between teams. That’s where you come in!

As a content designer, using clarity and simplicity as a foundation, you’ll help users understand how to use our products to collaborate, how to share their work, where to find their saved cloud documents, and be part of a small, hardworking team working horizontally across all of Creative Cloud.

You’ll also work with our larger team of content designers on centralized standards, contribute directly to Spectrum, our industry leading design system, and directly influence the way that millions of creatives interact with Adobe’s industry-leading tools.

What you’ll be working on

  • You’ll embed with the Assets and Collaboration design team, collaborating with designers, researchers, product managers, and more
  • You’ll report through our dedicated, tight-knit UX content strategy team to align and participate in central content strategy projects
  • You’ll bring clarity, consistency, and quality to the way we design for our users across all apps, services, and surfaces
  • You’ll develop strategies and standards on how our Creative Cloud services use language, and how they work with other products in the Adobe ecosystem

What you need to succeed

Must-haves:

  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to practice content design across a sophisticated, interconnected product ecosystem
  • A track record for influencing and collaborating with a myriad of partners throughout Adobe
  • A knack for developing a content strategy, and tactically writing and designing toward that strategy
  • The ability to present and sell your ideas, create coalition, and build support
  • Experience leading wide, centralized content efforts for a large, diverse organization
  • The ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects (think 5-10) at a time
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills, and a sharp attention to detail
  • 5+ years experience writing strategically for product experiences
  • Experience crafting and governing content standards, terminology, and UX writing efforts at a company with digital products

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with, and a point of view on, digital workflow collaboration and creative tools
  • Experience in working in a large organization with a diverse set of offerings and customers
  • Experience working with a design system or a centralized design team
  • Experience working on a highly visible brand or a legacy product offering
