The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Designer to join the Creative Cloud Search & Discover team, which explores the intersection of search, rich content discovery, and machine learning in order to enhance users’ creative expression and realize the depth and breadth of the Creative Cloud ecosystem.

In this role, you will develop frameworks and systems that enable users to navigate and discover new value in the Creative Cloud ecosystem, including apps, inspirational and learning content, resources, and more. You will collaborate closely with other designers and product management to define vision and strategy.

What you’ll be working on

  • End-to-end design. Define frameworks and document system foundations and principles. Drive the design of new features and systems from concept to implementation, including creating final designs to ship. Support development teams throughout the implementation cycle.
  • Advocate for the user. Conduct primary and/or secondary research, as well as quick rounds of usability tests. Channel the voice of the user when developing product vision and roadmaps.
  • Approach problems holistically. Be an influential design leader, helping your cross-functional peers define strategy, requirements, and experiments. Uncover opportunities to decrease friction and align with teams across Adobe Design.
  • Collaboration within and across teams. Proactively engage with multiple project partners, including product managers, engineers, and other designers in brainstorming, testing, and refining concepts.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • BA/BFA degree, or equivalent work experience, with an emphasis on user experience, interaction design, or visual design.
  • Ability to grasp the essence of complex design problems and translate them to practical design solutions.
  • Proven track record of launching products that delight and innovate.
  • Grounded in fundamental visual and interaction design principles.
  • Ability to communicate a design strategy that addresses user needs, product requirements, and established goals.
  • Ability to integrate feedback from leadership in a rapid iterative design process.
  • Enduring curiosity and being comfortable with uncertainty and working independently, as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Keen interest in contributing to the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team and the company.
  • A deep love of design and a passion for enabling creative people and workflows.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Background in search, chatbot, help center, or educational experience design.
  • Prior experience designing systems and frameworks across mobile, desktop, and web.
  • Experience collaborating with user researchers.
