At Adobe Design Talks in New York City, Matthew Richmond (VP of Design, Creative Cloud Pro Products and 3D at Adobe) joined fellow creative, and former School of Visual Arts student, Rich Tu (Partner and Executive Creative Director at Sunday Afternoon) in a conversation about how emerging technologies, like generative AI, are impacting creative processes and how they might impact them in the future.

The rate of technological change has increased exponentially in the past two years. Along with it there's been growing uncertainty in the creative industry. Generative AI, especially, has raised a lot of questions for creative professionals about where creative careers are headed, what types of changes they can expect next, and what skills they should be investing in now.

Rich and Matthew explore not only how technology has evolved in the fifteen years since they were student and instructor, but how they’re continuing to navigate technological evolution with intention, experimentation, and a bit of optimism.
